[vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/6″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=””][CASE STUDY] At the University of Brescia we have developed a modern wayfinding system that respects and enhances the unique architectural context of a 15th century cloister.<\/p>\n

When working with historic buildings, signage cannot limit itself to indicating: it must interact with the environment, enhance it, simplify use without invading the original aesthetics.<\/p>\n

When carrying out the project we took into account 3 guidelines:<\/p>\n

Modularity and interchangeability:
\nTotems and wall panels designed to evolve with the spaces, allowing easy and fast updates, without invasive structural interventions.<\/p>\n

Color identity for each area:
\nWe used differentiated colors to immediately facilitate orientation between different faculties and campuses, making routes and destinations intuitive.<\/p>\n

An integrated approach:
\nEvery element, from materials to graphic design, has been designed to fit harmoniously into the architectural context, respecting its value and history.<\/p>\n
